Images, like languages, shape the way we think about old age and ageing. Given so many more of us are living longer, it's time we started using more realistic and positive imagery. We've launched the first free library of over 400 positive and realistic images of older people in a bid to seen an end to the use of images that reinforce stereotypes of later life such as 'wrinkly hands' that are frequently used to depict older people.
